My secret profile exposes!! Let's check it out : ) | |
This is me, Alvin, who want to share every piece of my leadership journey puzzle with you. Hopefully the video can give you a brief understanding of me and my life.
How is this masterpiece born? Of course, it needs 'thousand tons' of effort from my Supernice Group 6. One week is short time but enough for me to learn a leadership lesson through serving and being served. I am a leader of this project, so the responsibility to lead and serve probably falls on my shoulders. My considerate group mates try to reduce my burden during the production of video. Some of them volunteered to take part in the film editing while others kept throwing interesting ideas to make the video look much better. For the little me, what I can express my gratitude is only to offer a free ride backing home or help deliver the stuff needed in the video.
THANKS ALL OF YOU!! <3
Thanks you for backing me up when crisis appears.
Thanks you for standing by my side until late night in the library.
Thanks you for bringing this unforgettable experience to me.
LET'S LEAP!!
Why this slogan is bigger than I posted in my pervious blog? It is because our LEAP Project is the
BEST experience in my life!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we are giving out small present packages for those who have served us in the campus. Do you guess right? Our LEAP is called "pay it forward", meaning to spread love and gratitude around the UMAC campus. Security is our first target. Regarding to the cold weather, our present packages involve not only a thank you card, but also a little warm bag so that they would still feel warm resisting the cold wind.
Unlike the public image of security who are all serious, those in the campus are very nice and cute. There is a very deep impression to me when we went to PJC, where we meet a very lovely secure, namely EJ. When we give the present to EJ and illustrated our objectives, he first felt very surprise and pleased but later his smilie dissolves our hearts. We have a causal talk with him. Guess what. He is from Philippines and know our professor Dr. Udani!! For a security, he needs to work for 12 hours safeguarding our students' safety but it is not over. Remembering the face of each student is also a duty for them so that unauthorised strangers are not easy to steak into the RC. After the talk, he even took the initiative to have a photo with us, much faster than us! What's a pleasure to us!

Last but not least...
This indeed surprises me and my group mates when i capture from my Facebook. For those young people that you even don't know their names, you 'pay' such a warm thanksgiving feedback to us. I promise to you, EJ. We will continue to share gratitude to all the others, even after graduated. As today, you have taught me that giving, somehow, is another way to receive. Your feedback will transform into our motivation to let everyone in the campus to feel warm. EJ and all the security, thanks you for your hard work on keeping us safe. Thanks you for your positive feedback to affirm our efforts are deserved .
P.S. All of the security are very boring during work so feel free to chat and befriend with them as they said so. :X
