Be grateful that there are so many freshmen to join our last but not the end part, the leadership workshop session 2.
Be grateful that there are Class 2017 students backing us up.
Be grateful that the story is not yet coming to the ending but a new story will begin.
This is the lesson told by the Class 2017. We learn to be grateful and to be a servant leader. It is the first but not the last thing that HC gives to me. Life will go on and the gratitude we learnt will pass to the next generation.
Let's see what is in this week workshop...
A BIG Crisis
A BIG Crisis
A leader should, of course, require the skills of crisis management but when it does happen, it will disrupt the flow of the event. The participants came is less than we expected and that means a big crisis appears! We, the whole class, need to quickly come up with a solution. We served and held the event as usual and, at the meanwhile, we reminded the registered participants by phone. Fortunately, more and more freshmen joined along the time and this unprecedented crisis eventually got solved.
- Well prepare yourself as you will never know what comes next -
- There is no time for us to regret because it is our last chance -
- There is no more Class 2017 leadership workshop after this -

Am I satisfied with our Group 6 part in the workshop? The answer, of course, is yes. Yes because we prepared the game until the night before the workshop. Yes because I can see the smiling faces on all the freshmen participants and seniors. Yes because I am honour to be the one in charge of the game [shy] [shy]. "Blind or Bright' is a game combining the ideas of "Support" and "Foresight". You alone will never win the game without the help of your group members. You are blind until you can fully trust and see the light of your members guiding towards the bright success.
Indeed, the performance of the freshmen surprised me as we thought this game has certain difficulty when we tried among the class 2017 during the rehearsal. So, I decided to lower the difficulty of the tasks they need to accomplish. I was amazed at the brilliance of them when I first realised that they took only a few minutes to finish the mission. I simultaneously changed my mind and used my original plan to test how they can cooperate under such a big challenge. And,
they did it!!
There is no doubt that this game is a bit challenging not only for the freshmen but also us, the Class of 2017. They are all able to show their leadership skills like problem solving and also their intelligence in this game and result in a very good performance time. I believe that the Class of 2018 are capable to continue our gratitude story and spread to the new comers. I am looking forward to seeing they can complete our ending of story.
Last but not the least, I am thanks for all who have joined our workshop. Without your support, we cannot even move on. So,
THANK YOU
