A big feast surrounded by laughter and cheerfulness in atmosphere held successfully this Wednesday. Both of us are energetically ready for our next coming challenge - the Leadership Enhancement & Advancement Project (LEAP). "Pay it forward" is a thanksgiving activity to expressing our gratitude to those who have served us in the campus by distributing small present packs and thank you cards. We all are so excited and can't wait no longer to implement this project. Hopefully, the gesture of goodwill would influence and retrieve the concern of the others who haven't noticed the work they done for us behind through the activity we organized. How can we be of service to others?
LET'S LEAP!!
Dr. Udan says being a leader needs to possess a spirit of Pepsi (when he was having a Pepsi-Cola :') ). At the moment when the whole class is admiring his quick-witted, he then further explains that PEPSI here isn't a brand of coke but a path towards a successful leader. P.E.P.S.I. are essential elements to develop leadership skills, which stand for professional, enthusiastic, people-oriented, serve and integrity respectively. You will realize that the idea in fact isn't that complex at all after this video.
- just dance and sing -
- Let your talent shine in front of stage... -

Doubtlessly, all of us do have the potential to be the shinning star but efforts made behind the facade are essentially the root of an unshakable foundation. Such passion indeed contributes to the profession of leadership. Besides having professional knowledge, being a servant leader also needs to serve the others. So, I would like to propose an attitude of "Cola" in addition to that of PEPSI. Unlike PEPSI, it comes from the Chinese translation "kě lè" (可樂). "Kě lè" means to be happy in Chinese. A heart of happiness keeps oneself positive to life and thus further spreads to the other people. To pay it forward again, cheerfulness may no longer be perishable and, instead, last among you and me.
Cheers!!
